To take part in the Stremio Add-On Contest, you need to create an add-on for any type of video content or subtitles and submit it on this page. Our judges will then select the three best add-ons, and the developers of will share the equivalent of $5,000 in Bitcoin.

Game on!” add-on development Competition (the “Competition”) organized by Smart Code OOD, a limited liability company incorporated and existing under the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, with its registered office at Sofia, 8-mi Dekemvri Str 13, Office 9, registered with the Commercial register at the Registry Agency under unified identification code 203358507 and duly registered as a personal data controller with the Register of the Registered Data Controllers at the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Commission under identification No. 427778 being, hereinafter reffered to as “Stremio”. Participants may not submit a Competition submission form or apply to be a Competition judge unless he/she agrees to the present Rules by explicitly checking the box “I agree to the Development Competition Rules – “Add-on. Game on”.

The words "include" and "including" as used in these Terms mean "including but not limited to."

A: Yes. You need to be familiar with Node.js.
A: Yes. You can apply to be a judge on the contest. You would still need technical skill, though.
A: The Stremio development team will get together and evaluate all the application forms for community member judges. We will then select the ones who have the best technical expertise and highest Stremio involvement.
A: Sadly, no. There’s a conflict of interest here, and while we trust you won’t judge your own add-on to be the best one, we’d rather keep things clean.
A: You can if you want to, but you don’t have to. A link to the Git repository of the add-on is enough to enter the competition.
A: Absolutely! You can submit as many add-ons as you wish.
A: Not only you can, but we encourage you to do that! Have a favourite Brazilian TV channel? Create an add-on for this! Fan of Korean sitcoms? Make an add-on for that!
A: No. Prizes will be paid out in Bitcoin but hey - cryptocurrency is hot right now so wouldn’t it be exciting for you to get in on it?
